Since the last post, both boys have had some serious sick (Big Bro with the flu, Little Man with bronchiolitis) leaving Dad little time for updating the blog. Things are mostly back to normal, although Little Man's sleep cycle is little off, and he's still has a bit of a smokers cough.
So what else has happened since the last post?
Big Bro celebrated his half birthday, which in our family tradition is celebrated with a half cupcake and a half-birthday half-challah.
The whole family also went to the Custom Car Show at the convention center,
Did some out of this world artwork,
And just spent some time hanging out at home.

Last night was Big Bro's first sleepover. What fun! That is, "what fun until way past bedtime when the accumulated sugar wears off and everyone crashes and needs to be taken home (or tucked back in) kicking and screaming and whining." Not to worry, everyone came back the next morning chipper and happy, ready to eat and play some more!

Mensch alert!

Today is a day of firsts; Mom's first day back at work from maternity leave, and therefore Little Man's first day at daycare.
Sensing the importance of the day, Big Bro said to Mom (unsolicited or encouraged by Dad) as she was getting ready to leave: "Have fun at your school today!"
Then as Dad and Big Bro were saying goodbye to Little Man in his room, Big Bro turned to the teacher and said "If you need anything, I'll be right upstairs (in my classroom)."

A nice lazy Saturday, hanging out around the house reading books, playing games, listening to some good tunes. (Happy Birthday, Eric!)
